President
Testimony Jésùtófúnmi is a 400-level student at the Department of Dramatic Arts, Obafemi Awolowo
University, and an award-winning Nigerian writer from Ogun State. Known for his literary excellence, he is
a seasoned performance poet, multiple slam champion, director, actor, graphic designer, and dramaturge.
His work often reflects on societal issues, projecting a deep love for humanity through art as a tool for
education, communication, and revolution.
He is also passionate about community service, having led initiatives like the ‘Patriotism and
Anti-Corruption Movement’ and currently serving as project coordinator for Nibstears Poetry Cave and
Rich Ideas Poetry Alliance (RIPA). His involvement with NGOs focuses on issues such as climate
change, menstrual poverty, gender equity, sickle cell awareness, and police brutality. Through his artistic
and volunteer work, he demonstrates strong leadership and conflict management skills, making a lasting
impact on Nigeria’s arts and culture scene.
